Our playschool, primary school and afternoon club are maintained by the Montessori Association of Helsinki (Helsingin Montessori-yhdistys ry), which has been operating since 1980.
In 2021, the association’s (early education) play school activities were incorporated into a separate entity, and thus Montessori Early Education Oy was born, which is still 100% owned by the Helsinki Montessori-yhdistys ry.
All parents are welcome to become members of the association.
Parental involvement is important, both for the child and for developing the everyday activities. The goal is that we can offer more well-being to our children through parental involvement.
All parents belong to the parents’ association of their child’s play school.
The activity of the parents’ association mainly revolves around doing things together. Fundraising is also part of it and can become a great source of genuine activity, collaboration and strengthening of the community.
