Finland’s first Montessori school operates in Herttoniemi, in the immediate vicinity of the metro station. The teaching follows the Finnish Basic Education Act and national curriculum principles. Many of the school’s teachers have Montessori teacher qualifications, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to work with Montessori methods and tools.
