The family’s share of the daycare fees is dependent on Kela’s private daycare allowance. The prices listed below are applicable to families living in Helsinki who receive Kela’s care allowance.
During the 2023–2024 school year, the city of Helsinki supports the daycare of 5-year-old children 4 hours per day (160 € per month) from August to May.
The city of Helsinki grants a sibling discount (150 €) to siblings in early childhood education in Helsinki. The discount applies to the older child in daycare.
The family’s share of the fees is paid in full 12 times a year. The first month of daycare will be paid in full regardless of the starting date. 5- and 6-year-olds pay the over 3-year-olds fee during June and July.

Maksupäivä on kunkin hoitokuukauden 3. päivä.
